Program Settings
- Path to Image Files- Use this button if you would like to change the folder location to save images to. Avoid saving images to a network drive or NAS.
- Path to Placeholder: Opens a File Explorer browser, Browse to the image file of your choice to use as a "placeholder" image when the sequence is idle.
- Retain Image files- Select how many days to keep image files before they area automatically deleted.
- Date Stamp Check box- Configure system to date stamp each image with the pertinent image information.
- Date Stamp Color- Opens a color browser. Select a text color for the date stamp text.
- Date Stamp Font Size- Set the desired font size of the date stamp.
- Subtract Dark Frame- Set whether a dark frame will be applied to the image. (Only available when using the SkyEye camera.)
- Create Dark Frame- Create a new dark frame. Normally this will only need to be done once, when first time camera setup is performed.
- Operation Mode- Select desired operating mode. For night time imaging, use the Sentinel Mode.
- Dusk/Dawn Settings- Type the geographic coordinates of your location in the fields or click the "Fetch" button to automatically find and enter your coordinates.
Tick the "Use DST" checkbox if Daylight Savings time is used in your location and if it is currently in use.
- Sunrise/Sunset offset- Adjust start and stop offset values as desired (Negative values are supported).
- FTP Settings- Enter FTP log-in credentials in appropriate fields. See FTP Dialog topic for concise information.
- Video Settings- Enter the type of video to be created. ("Night Time" video can only be created when system is in the 'Sentinel Mode")
Frame Count and Interval are only applied to interval videos. Select frame rate as desired. Most popular video formats are supported, although Mp4 is recommended.
Note: Video creation is a CPU intensive task and may take quite some time to complete. The progress bar will show the approximate status of the process but
may not be entirely accurate. If the process appears to be "Stuck", please be patient.
