Program won't launch

Check if program is already running in task manager. If so, end the task and then re-launch program from the desktop icon.

Camera appears to connect, but Preview window is black

Try a lower camera resolution. If this works, then check USB type (i.e.connect USB cable to a different USB port, preferably a USB 3.1 port)

Camera seems to periodically disconnect on its own

Check USB cable connections and/or try a different USB cable.

Camera won't connect

Check USB cable. Ensure all camera drivers have been installed.

Image and videos appear "noisy"

Check if suitable dark frame has been made and "Subtract Dark Frame" check box is ticked.
